A sleek and innovative projection solution for small meeting rooms and a versatile, high-capacity media conferencing switch are among new products being introduced this week at Europes largest AV and systems show by Austrian computing solutions firm, :3C! vidision.
The business meeting products developed by Vienna-based :3C! vidision are designed to fill specific space and flexibility demands evident in the office market, and are among a cross-section of business and digital signage products on display and demonstrated at :3C! vidisions booth 11i35 at Integrated Systems Europe, Feb. 2-4, at Amsterdams RAI exhibition center.
The Bene P2 MediaCredenza is a sleek, shallow-depth office furniture unit that contains an ultra short-throw, wide-angle lens projector capable of driving large presentations on a wall immediately behind a unit. The integrated projector drives 2700 lumens, bright enough for almost any office lighting challenge, and supports picture sizes up to 160cm by 120cm.
Designed to look good and both aesthetically and physically fit in smaller or secondary meeting rooms in business offices, the MediaCredenza units measure between 80 and 240cm in width, are 82cm tall and 60cm deep. The units are protected by glass tops. :3C! vidision provides the technology expertise, and the units are marketed in cooperation with Austrian office furniture manufacturer Bene AG.
Also being actively marketed, but too large for the ISE 2010 booth, is another conferencing unit, called the IdeaWall. Using a flat panel display that supports touch and multi-touch and integrated wiring, the glass-faced unit was designed by Bene AG and :3C! vidision to have multiple configurations, including a unique micro-studio meeting table and back-screen.
All the MediaRoom Conferencing Systems can be controlled by any W-LAN-enabled device such as :3C!-supplied 7" or 9" Atom-based Tablets, iPhone, Google Nexus One smartphones or even the coming Apple iPad. The user software can be adapted so personal presets or complex functions - including lighting, shades, screens, lifts, displays, projectors and climate control can all be selected with a single touch of a virtual "presentation-on" button.
:3C! vidision is also using ISE as a showcase for its new MediaPort IV/HD Analog/Digital Conferencing Switch, HDMI Matrix and AV Center. The unit connects as many as 144 analog WUXGA audio/video conferencing positions and as many as 64 digital HDMI/DVI/audio conferencing inputs to presentation displays or conferencing projectors over a CAT-based single cable analog DockingBus and a dual-CAT Digital DockingBus.
The HDMI/DVI Digital DockingBus can also be configured for 32+3x2 HDMI Matrix installations, so that each connected HDMI/DVI system can be presented on each of the two HDMI/DVI display/projector outputs.
It doesnt matter what type of media device you need to integrate into your conferencing or presentation project, this new Mediaport gives you all the options, said Fred S. Mandelbaum, managing partner of :3C! vidision.
Mandelbaums business has been supplying a variety of conferencing, high-availability computing, industrial control and media information solutions to companies around the globe since 1994.
